Hello all,

Just wondering what sports app everyone uses for scores and news etc?

With BB10 apps slowly fading I am hoping I don't need to look for alternatives but would like a list in case.

I currently use The Score and YSN. Are these apps available in markets other than Canada?

I also use NHL GameCenter for scores and schedules. The app is no longer available for download and it stopped updating news feeds a few months back. I contacted the developer but didn't get a chance to see a decent response. Mostly hog wash responses about thanking me as a customer blah blah blah.

You're better off creating links to sport sites on your home screen.

The CBS sport app for the z30 was the best native sports app, but with more and more native apps gone. An Android alternative like Yahoo sports is a good one.

I use the ESPN, but it's very football (soccer) and cricket orientated, probably not to most north americans tastes. Do any of you know of any decent NFL scores/news apps, even though I'm english I love the sport.

I have a folder on my desktop with links to my favorite mobile Web sites for the sports I follow. I prefer that greatly to the app experience.

Links to my teams' local newspapers and the league news and score pages feel much more comprehensive than the apps I used to use.

The Web beats the heck out of apps for depth of content.

Yeah there is nothing good, especially for US college football. TSN doesn't even know how to properly sum yards for statistics for NFL.

TSN app Headlines section hasn't updated in a few days now - Scoreboard still up to date. Hope they're not dropping support for it, but wouldn't be surprised.

If you are a tennis fan the ATP/WTA Live app is pretty good and was recently updated.

The Score app is the best I guess for all types of sports scores. But honestly I always found it lacking even in relation to the BBOS version.

For those wondering I emailed several different addresses for Bell Media and TSN regarding their sports app.

It appears to have been an issue for both Blackberry and Android apps. I got an email back saying the issue has been resolved. I was worried we were losing another one and it's an app I use frequently.

Appears all in order now!

Too bad TSN is not accurate in their statistics. For example, they don't calculate yardage correctly for NFL games. That being said, I wish they would add US college football since it is one of the last sports apps available for BB10.
