Dear BlackBerry staffs,

When is the priv pkb support asian language such as thai chinese or japanese like it supports on Passport(bb10) ?

I love to use pkb on priv even I dont get use to it like passport yet. But I hope, to have update from BlackBerry to use others asian languages on pkb.

I asked the same question about support for chinese input couple months back, and the reply was they have no intention (at least for now) to introduce the same support for chinese input on bb priv hardware keyboard. Looks like they are sticking to google pinyin for now, although i mentioned we then loose out the ability to double tap to enable cursor and the swipe to delete gesture and what not... disappointed, but not the end of the world..

Ugh... I use it everyday. PKB works with the Google Chinese input methods.

Is it hardware problem or OS problem? Is it hard to implement? I don't know why BlackBerry doesn't wanna improve this.

Or because of they don't sell to Asian officially yet?

Anybody has idea?

I plan to buy KeyOne Black ed. but it seems that I must type my local language -THAI - on screen instead on its fabulous physical keyboard, quite disappointed. This make me hard to decide to buy it. I love physical keyboard but it seems that BlackBerry don't care other Asian keyboard request.

This considers as drawback for BlackBerry once comparing with other makes
