Now, That's a little extreme. Depending on the size of your download and the number of seeding you're better off downloading to your computer and transferring it to your phone.
It'll eat up your processor and memory so you probably won't be able to do much until your torrent is finished downloading

But, I know that doesn't answer your question.
I'll have to go with a big NO!!

There are much easier ways to do what you want to do with torrents that take "minutes" to download ...... or so I've heard!!!

It IS a BB10 native app, and it works very well.

I think Bittorque is gone from BlackBerry world or maybe it was a sideload.

It is a sideload and Conite has it right. It does work well. I find the older version works better for me, when I use it,which isn't often nowadays, but YMMV.

I like flud for torrents. Works well, stays on in background, even has a notification with a progress bar in the hub.

Well, sometimes I have to admit I don't know what's going on and even if if did, I wouldn't know what to do about it.

Oh yeah. Would you guys thank Conite if you haven't already.
He's pretty useful. We don't wanna lose him just yet!

Hmmn--just tried version 1.1.9 on my Passport running .2876 and it is working fine. It did take about 5 minutes to first connect and engage but it is running fine now, for me, at least. I always had trouble with the newer versions though.

I've had great experience using seedr.cc It's web based but to me that's the benefit. You can manage your torrents from any device/phone via the browser and download them to your phone. Not to mention you're not using your phone resources. I understand some have a preference for apps but for those who want a hassle free way of grabbing a torrent, this is it IMO.
