My wife took in her Galaxy S6 today and had been having issues, they fixed for her, and said due to our being with them so long, they would like to give her and me (my name on acct) both a free Ipad mini, but need to set up an appointment? She set for this Sat at 5pm. I never believe anything is just for free. Anyone else heard anything like this?

They will charge you for two data plans.

And if you cancel the data plan, they will bill you for the tablet.

Yeah I would be VERY apprehensive. The only thing free they give is 200mb for data. Hardware--much less Apple's--sounds very unbelievable.

The tablet is actually the Samsung tab A, which I believe is pretty sweet. $10 bucks a month for data is all you pay and is yours after 24 months, so pay $240 for a tablet that you can buy for $179

TMO's cheapest tablet data plan is $20.

So if you're already a TMO customer, you're better off buying the tablet for $180 and tethering. Even paying for upping your phone's data ($15 increments from $50, until you hit unlimited data at $95) would save you $120 over 24 months. Plus, given the way Android updates work, you'd be hampering yourself by adding another doozy of a barrier to getting updates: a carrier.

For being an 11 year customer, TMobile told me not to let the door hit me where the (deity of your choice) split me. That was when I went to Harbor Mobile.
