It's been probably a few months now, where my direct messages do not work. I don't receive notifications of new ones, and I also cannot even view them because they don't show up. I'm technically not even receiving them. However others can receive ones from me without a problem. Anyone else having this problem? It's the latest version direct from the playstore, on my telus passport.

Not to offend, but have you tried reinstalling the app? Try uninstalling, then a hard restart and reinstall again. I have instagram and my direct messages work on the passport. Can't really give you a techie answer since troubleshooting isn't my area of expertise. Hopefully that helps =)

what device are you using?
there is no Playstore for OS10!
there is no Playstore for iOS either!
Google app's are not official supported by OS10!
This is the part of CB for "BlackBerry OS10"
the PRIV section is elsewhere...

I understand. But I installed the Play Store on my bb10 passport, it's possible and lots of people have done it. It's the same as installing any other apk really, with a few extra steps.

I have tried uninstalling and all that stuff. Multiple times. Thank you for the suggestions though

The only other thing i could recommend is uninstalling instagram. Hard restarting your phone, and using your computer install the .bar file for Snap (it is a playstore alternative, you can install either the v.2 or the v3beta).

This will tell you how to install the Snap .bar file onto your phone.

Then once that is all done, just log into the snap app store and try downloading instagram from there. It could work, since you're installing from another app store.
