Volume up button NOT working on my Passport.

I already tried the following without success :

- reinstalled os version: 10.3.2.2639

- replaced middle frame

Press on the back of the phone just behind the volume buttons and at the same time hit the volume up...

I believe the motherboard should be replaced.
etradesupply.com have some spare parts for the passport but not the motherboard.
On ebay i found the motherboard, but it's not simlock free.

Usually you're better off buying a broken phone to harvest the motherboard, blackberry typically doesn't sell the motherboards on their own unless they are pinless motherboards

This is going to be almost impossible. You cannot buy a mother board of any BlackBerry devices. Almost impossible. You can,however, try to detach the connector between the mother board and the volume button module. And re-attach it to the mother board. It is very difficult to find that part. It is the connector on the mother board that causes your problem. I know cause I have the same issue. I have someone who is good at the electronic stuff replace the part for me and the problem is solved. But I am lucky to have a mother board from a water-damaged Passport.
