Would love some thoughts on why I am at a loss!

I am a Brit working in Luanda, Angola and use a Z10 for everything.

Luckily there is a 4G network under Unitel and whilst nice and fast my phone does not want to stay Registered for BlackBerry Services.

When I request such services via About - Network then bottom right corner 3 dots Register BlackBerry my request I acknowledged immediately and then I can use BBM.

However, my BlackBerry symbol will drop out after 5-15 mins.

The network provider are very thorough but can not pinpoint the sporadic behaviour.

Would love some input please?

I was in South Sudan for work and had the same issue....it was due to the App!! 8 wish u can easily solve!!

Hi, Internet browsing and normal BlackBerry Services fine i.e. email etc.

Did u check if other people with BBM are able to use it there?

You can try to look for the BlackBerry store on Internet and see if it works. I remember that Bis was not working in SS and so I could not use BBM, unless when I was in Internet via satellite. But then with BB10 I was able to use it....

BBM works fine when my phone is registered for BlackBerry Services but it is sporadic. I can connect to BBW too when I have the services.
Since posting I have managed to speak with our interpreter who has a Z10 and he has the same issues as me!
Initially, I thought it my phone or that I had to be manually registered with the UNITEL phone network but now I think it is purely down to their servers. Once saving grace is that we can enjoy a 4G network!
