Hello there,

I hav a BB Curve 8520. The software version is v5.0.0.681 (platform 5.2.0.6.7).
I want to use blackberry app world, which i downloaded and installed on the phone, but it keeps having this error

"App World requires the latest version of Blackberry ID".

When i click update, it the says

"Sorry, the software update server is unavailable. Please try again" and then it goes on to say:

"Blackberry ID installation ailed. please try again later (80002)"

I had this problem and so i security wiped the phone. I also have WiFi connection but i am unaware at all why i cannot update the blackberry ID still after all that. ive done battery pulls too. i cannot see anythign on my options menu to add or edit the blackberry ID.
Pleaseeee please please can you assist me in this, and help me!! I will appreciate your support highly.
