People have been making threads in the storm forum for a bit now asking how to take a screenshot of the screen.

In the third party apps section
cool6342 posted a thread

which is a program that lets you create a screenshot directly on the device

if a media card is present it will put the screenshot on the memory card.

Also once installed you have to edit the permissions

Options>advanced options> applications

Highlight captureit click blackberry button > edit permissions

I found that all that is needed is ALLOW on "recording"



You can now put capture it to a hot key (key's on left or right)

also a new link appears in the BB button menu labled "capture it"

this is a easy ON the device solution for grabbing a screenshot of the current screen..

Simply assign CaptureIt to one of your convenience keys. Presto!

I was editing and finally got it to work it looks like. At least I see the picture displayed now. I love the fact I can upload pictures right to my PhotoBucket account. I wish it had Photobucket as an option for uploading from the Blackberry menu. My options are MySpace, MMS, Windows Live, AIM, Y! Messenger, Messenger Contact or Flickr. Any way to add it for Photobucket? Doubt it but you guys are the experts!
