You also need to contact Uber support and ask them to activate your account (after setup). Then m.uber.com will work through the BB10 browser just like the Uber app.

There been an update to m.uber.com or th blackberry 10? I have the passport and I cannot request rides from Uber-- it's not connecting to the UBER network.

I contacted Uber, they say nothing wrong with my account, reset and turned off my phone, didn't work. I'm able to request rides from someone else's phone android or iphone.

Now I can't even sing into m.uber.com, anyone else experiencing this issue that has aBB10/passport?

Here in Mexico City, I got the same problem, both with the mobile page and with Ober. It's unfortunate, as both were working fine a few days ago.

Uber says nothing is wrong, but curiously, only BlackBerry devices seem to be affected. So far my Passport cant connect to Ober or the mobile page; my backup 9800 Torch and my gf's Q10 can't connect to the mobile page either.

I'm sure it's not a problem with Ober, as the mobile page has the same error. It's definitely on Uber's side, but they're not acknowledging it. At first, I thought it was a carrier's issue, but now I'm seeing someone elsewhere reporting the problem.

Yeah JG, that's the same error I'm getting. I'm currently in CO, so this appears to be an international issue. This apparently has to do with the m.uber.com website, as Uber only appears to work with the app now.

It's a shame, I was really enjoying using Ober, which employs the mobile page with a native BB10 feeling.

So far, the only option seems to be using patched Android apps: http://forums.crackberry.com/android...r-app-1014845/

P.S. I couldn't get the apps to work properly on 10.3.1 (my location wasn't detected), so I had to update to 10.3.2 and it's ok now.

Quite a few people flagged up the issue re accessing the mobile site using blackberry browsers to Uber and they have now fixed the problem. Uber seems to be back up via the browser and Ober. As before you must request access to the mobile site from Uber for it to work.
