Hi!

There is an annoying thing that drives me mad...
When i use the Bluetooth connection on my VW (please no exhaust jokes *g) car and choose "Media" there is always the Music app starting. When I close it, it comes back a second time. After closing this again, it's gone. Is there a way to disable this? Is it something from the radio or BB?

I think it is the car. I do not have that problem with any of my vehicles.

Try this. Go to the Bluetooth menu, hold on your radio then choose device details. Switch off audio streaming. It should work. Otherwise it's radio related.

I have a non-diesel VW as well (with the Premium 8 audio system), and it pulls up Music when I hit the Media button. It's supposed to do that when you press Media because it wants to begin playing music from your phone. I can either use the buttons on the steering wheel to skip ahead or back a track or use the volume buttons on the phone to do so. Whichever playlist I had running last is the one that begins playing. I usually play music from my phone, but I am pretty sure that when I don't, the Music app doesn't open on my phone.

My mercury did that too. I turned bt off, chafed the stereo from aux to the radio and closed the music app. Turned bt on and it hasn't opened the music app since.
