Ideas are two a penny. The difficult part is in the realisation and monetisation.

I'd say that's the right question to ask

I'm a developer AND I have a ton of ideas no one has used before that I want to pursue... but only so many hours in a day.

Which means if I need to deviate away from what I want to do I need some serious incentive. And often,'some money' isn't enough. I often get pitched an app idea and offered 1k to 5k to make them - and I have to politely find ways to say no because it's not a good ROI for what the ask is.

I'd say it's very very very unlikely, but there are a fews developers I'd be worried about with that, so I'll say it's distantly plausible.

Most of the time, if an app doesn't exist, it's because of a technology limitation or the size of the effort with minimal return - not because no one thought of it.

Why do people think that ideas are worth anything? Even if you are Elon Musk and you have a great idea or two, you've got to put together a team, finance it yourself or obtain financing, etc. before anything begins to happen.

I'm a developer. Ideas are also important. You need a problem to solve; without ideas there's nothing to build.

If you think your idea is good and valuable, don't just give it out.

A lot of people offer % of future revenue. But i have to say, even if you have a great idea and execution of development, without a proper marketing strategy, somebody will beat you app. % of 0 is still 0
