Whatsapp works for a short time when the phone has been switched off and battery taken out and facebook the same but message comes up that my service plan does not support the application (facebook message)

This is on the 9720 forum, so nothing to do with Google Play Services lol.

The msg from the FaceBook app is referring to the BIS plan not allowing for FB to work. It's strange that it works for a while.
Verify if you have a "full" BIS plan.

Hi, I was wondering are you having problems with the facebook app? I installed Snap on my phone but the latest facebook app opens with the facebook logo for about 2 seconds and then automatically closes out. The facebook app from Blackberry World is no better as it seems to not have been updated since Blackberry first launched. Thanks in advance.
