When I am using the browser and click on a link within an article I notice in the address bar 'connect5364." Then while viewing the article a get a slide in pop up that I cant get rid of very easily.

Has anyone had this issue? How do I get rid of it?

    Thanks for your help..

I have had the same issue. I have run scans using Max Mobile security, cleared my cache, browser history and cookies. I can not find the cause.

This is not exclusive to BlackBerry forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s4/330446-new-spam-popups.html It appears ad software has been compromised.
Lots of information online about how to get this off a PC, but no good answers for mobile browsers. Does anyone know of a scanning software that will work on BlackBerry?

So when people ask these questions, (this is the second I have seen for browser hijack in BlackBerry in the last couple weeks), is it a phishing attempt to get us to go the the affected websites?

Happens on both WiFi and mobile networks. It is happening after visiting legitimate sites like imdb and Amazon. This is not phishing, do not go to or click on any link having anything to do with connectxxxx

Nothing recently, but the only ones that I do have, have been through Amazon. Speaking of Amazon, my browser has been slower since the last update that automatically added the Amazon store app. Going from bad to worse...

Did you install any app from any source other than Google Play. Amazon App, or BlackBerry World?

Feedback on Global TV from Amazon report intrusive pop-up ads.

If I were you, I would delete all non-BlackBerry third party apps and see if the issue persists.
You probably have an app that has ad-ware as part of it's "features".

Thanks, all apps are from one of those sources. This stuff just started happening a few days ago. Ive had those apps for a while now, the newest being GlobalTV.

Anyway, I deleted heads up. See if that changes anything
