Basically I am looking at the blackberry playbook which is 120$ it is nice looking and camera is great. I need to know if The browser is still good and if the docs to go app works well? I have z30 Smartphone and I only trust BlackBerry, I need this tablet for school, online schooling and free time writing. Does it still work well? Also can I side load Netflix and Clash of clans on it? Please let me k in asap, school starts in 1 week and I need to know. I lov BlackBerry and the playbook looks great but I need to know honestly if it is still a good buy?

the playbook hasn't been worth it for 2 years IMO. Every since it was announced no BB10 its been EOL. Many other android tabs that have better support and have Netflix, CC and modern updated apps and wont break the bank

OMG. There are still suckers that would pay $120.00 for a Playbook? I wouldn't pay $20.00.

Not unless you need something to hold a wobbly table still.

The browser sucks. If u buy one it should be very cheap(less then $50), as u can only use it for the few decent games u have, watch movies or play music (so actually a mediacenter).

I have bought my 2nd PB from Ebay for $50. I'm very happy with both devices. Still great device.

Sorry to say NO! It is not worth spending your money on. It was at its end of life a year ago. I would purchase a Z30 before I would waste the money on a Playbook if you want a BlackBerry. I know it not a tablet but it will serve the same purpose. Besides it newer, faster and still supported.

About a year ago I paid $75 for a 64 gb Playbook. It worked really well for me in my chosen profession (attorney), but about 3 months ago, it stopped being able to bridge with my AT&T Z10. It just stays home now unless I can find somewhere with WiFi. I still use it for daily browsing or just googling something while I'm watching TV, but that's about it.

The bridge should still work. We're on AT&T also. My wife has a Z10 and it's still bridged to her PB. If you allowed an app update of the bridge on your Z10 without removing your SIM card, this may have overwritten your ability to bridge your PB to your phone. Delete the app, remove BB Bridge, shut down, remove the SIM, reboot, on a WiFi connection, go to BB World then re-install BB Bridge. Shut down, reinstall the SIM, boot back up and you should be there. You may need to pair your Z10 once again.

My phone is a new Classic and I'm bridged to my PB. So that's two different phones, each bridged to its own PB.

I have an iPad Air and an LG POS tablet and continue to use my PB every day. Believe it was bad marketing and release before it was ready for the public. Still a great product. When you're not in range of WiFi and need to use your tablet for internet access, the bridging is wonderful.
