    My BB 8900 was just sentto me from Dubai. And when I insert my sim card, it says INVALID SIM CARD. How to make it valid. There is nosignal bars, only SOS. What does SOS means? Pls help me.. Thank you.

    SOS means you can call emergency services - and nothing else.

    Invalid sim means exactly what it seems. The device cannot read/work with it. Your SIM card can be shot and useless or the device can be locked.

    I'm guessing it's locked to whatever carrier it was bought from. If that's the case, you'll need to BUY an unlock code. I'd try at BerryReview.

    EDIT: Oh yeah, also check if the frequencies match. If your carrier and that device do not match, the SIM can be functioning perfectly, the device can be unlocked and you still won't be able to use it.
