Setting a task in remember results in its alarm sounding 1 hour early. Alarms from calendar work fine. A quick Google suggests others have encountered this same problem. Anyone found a solution? It must be a bug but I can't work out how to fix it.

Otherwise loving my Leap - my first blackberry after years of iPhone and bb10 is so good. Shame all these rumours suggesting its demise and migration to Android.

There was an issue with this in the UK, but there is a patch out. Would be easier to advise if we knew what timezone you are in and what version of the OS you are running.

Hi, I am in the UK on the Dublin / London timezone running 10.3.1.1779. I am new to blackberry so presumed software would update itself. If not the case, how is this done? My computer is a Mac.

Settings > Software update says I am up to date so I am guessing there is a way of installing a more updated version manually?

Oh, and I am on Vodafone UK if that makes a difference.

I submitted a bug report on this back in March. Mark Sohm reported on April 23rd that the fix would be released in 10.3.2. So you either have to wait until your carrier pushes that version, use this issue to encourage them to do so, or (for the advanced user) use the tools available to install an update from another carrier.

The BlackBerry Jira bug number is BBTEN-3027

This seems to be especially problematic in the UK. I suspect it has to do with how the application handles the reconciling of GMT vs DST. Not an expert opinion, just an observation.

That is exactly correct. If you change the device timezone to another location the problem goes away, replaced by the time being wrong all the time

Anyway, this was an easy bug to replicate, which made it easy to report and I imagine easy to fix. I haven't actually gone through the procedure to test it myself, but Mr Sohm is da bomb. If he says it is fixed in 10.3.2 I'm sure it is.

With the above comments in mind, and pending Vodafone UK releasing 10.3.2 I have set the time zone as Windhoek which appears the same as BST and this has solved the problem.
