It seems to be a problem related to how google talk automatically handles incoming videos, to get them ready to be seen as soon as the user wants to. I don't think that bug should affect BBOS10 MMS subsystem. By the way, I read about that bug elsewhere.

BB10 keeps the Android runtime in a sandbox. The limited exposure should prevent any similar event on a BlackBerry phone.

Appears to be an MMS based attack and the way Android handles it.

On a BlackBerry, the BB10 OS handles to message so there would be nothing for the attack to do.
