    Hi all,

For those of you who don't know it appears that Bloomberg has stopped supporting the Passport version of the Bloomberg app.

I am a Q10 user and thinking of upgrading to the Classic or Passport. The Q10 and Classic version of the app are native from what I understand.

In any event I emailed Bloomberg to ask them if they plan on developing an app for the Passport again and they responded by saying they are dropping Blackberry as a whole.

For those of you who have app development experience, what type of costs would a developer need to incur to maintain an app like Bloomberg?? Given the fact that Blackberry users are mostly business I can see the Bloomberg app being one of the most used apps on BB10. I hate the way some of the best apps are disappearing on us. I am ok with the current set up of Blackberry World and Amazon but now we are starting to lose more common and vital apps.

In any event here is a screen shot of my email with them confirming it. I responded wondering when exactly this is occurring but haven't heard back yet.

    Thoughts???

Allow Shared Files permission and restart the app.

    No surprise.

Within two years there will be no apps for BB10.

I use it... I even used the Bloomberg app on my 9900... but it's not a paid app and it has no ads, so is it something they just do at a loss to get their name out there?

That's a bummer. I just got my passport and am in the process of installing all my old apps from the z10, and saw that I couldn't find it - just the paid version...I used that app a ton
