I see from your posting history that there have been other issues you have had with your upgrade.
Before you start mixing core file versions, have you tried a complete wipe yet?
    • Run a full backup on your device
    • Run a Security Wipe on your device.
    • Once it has finished and started back up, log in with your BlackBerry ID and re-setup your accounts, but do not restore the backup at this time. Leave the backup, third party apps, and contacts off for now.
    • After a day or two, see if the battery life has improved.
    • If so, then restore the back up and load your third party apps.
    • If then the battery life starts to fail, then it's an app issue.

Try the radio 859, on my passport,it has much much better battery life than the one from 2339 (Radio 2340)

The easiest way to install the radio is through Sachesi, you don't need to back up anything, just direct install
Do the back up,if you want to..... just in case

don't forget to tick 'allow downgrade' (if there is),as you install lower file

For best battery life keep your phone on charge mode. Make sure the power is on. Plug it in your phone and use away. Ensure all specs are at 100%.

If it drops below 100% let me know. I will call John Chen

All 10.3.2 builds have amazing battery performance. My z10-3 lives for 2 days with moderate usage, wireless always on. Remember that i always use autoloader.

It might help you - i did autoload the same os on Q5.

This time i didn't open BBM, so it isn't active.
    Batterylife is amazing now.
I suppose this is because BBM checks for Messages, Channels etc in a unknown short period of time.

You could also disable 4G if your plan doesn't support it. This prevents unneeded switches in mobile bands.

Disable as many "allow run in background" under app settings as possible. Just give it a try for each own app. Especially android ones.

Just installed the 859 radio on OS 2339. I was getting such terrible battery life with 2340 radio, so I'm hoping this does well.

Actually, I was very happy with OS 840, no problems, great battery life. But Verizon pushed 858 in a mandatory update and I started having issues with certain apps. Went to 2339 and the issues went away, but so did good battery life.

EDIT: first day with 859 radio on 2339 and I see QUITE a difference in improved battery life. Would recommend it to anyone seeing diminished battery with stock 2339 radio.

What OS/Radio combo are you using on your z10-3? I had phenomenal battery life on 10.3.1, but 10.3.2 drains much faster even on standby. I've been running OS 2339 / Radio 841 but I just loaded Radio 2340 to see if that fixes it...

Hybrid os is not a goood ideea. I tried that and my z10 started heating. Btw i never had reception problems. I have. 2339 build with 2340 radio. Everything good, still some bugs here and there. I dont have android apps.

This is the first time I've had issues with a non-standard OS/Radio combo but I loaded up the 2340 radio yesterday and my battery life is back to normal, about 2%/hr drain.

It's always interesting how it's different for different users. My experience is the exact opposite. Terrible battery with 2340 radio, very good with hybrid.

I guess people should realize that battery life varies from user to user depending on their configuration. You really need to try things yourself to see what works best.

Having loaded so many OSes, this is purely anecdotal, but after a new OS load, I let it settle overnight, then reboot twice with a few minutes between boots.

The reboot twice seems to reset something and everything seems smoother after.
