My first suggestion would be to install snap on your Blackberry. That will take care of all your apps needs in the future.

I am on OS 10.3.1.1779 and I installed the Instagram app from snap and it works perfectly. Even gets notifications.

Another way I like to get apps on my BlackBerry is with a Android device. If you have a old Android phone, download the app "My App Sharer." That will allow you to email that app to your Blackberry phone. Open the email, download the app. Than go to your file manager on your Blackberry, go to downloads, find the app, install it. Easy when you do it once or twice.
