    I don't know what is going on with my Q. It is rarely in 4G anymore, and I'm in metro Philadelphia where my old Samsung had 4G and my kids' iphones have 4G constantly. I've tried rebooting and that used to bring back the 4G but thats not working anymore.
    Is this a Sprint thing or more likely a problem with my Q? I've had it for about a year and a half now.

    Well if the other phones are getting a good 4G then it's your device. Have you made sure you are on the latest OS?

    When was the last time you updated the prl and the network profile? you do that from the seft test screen in setup.

    in the yellow setup app, menu selections for self test, then hit the 3 dot menu selection and you will see menu selection for prl and network profile

    Guess mine is different, verizon Z30, there is no self test in there.
