I ordered a new screen complete from wholesale gadget parts, however after fitting the screen, without any problems the screen just flashes after the boot up, I removed the connector cable and refitted but no change finally swapping back the old screen and it loads perfectly. The only obvious difference is the Rev no on the label is lower than the screen that was fitted as standard. Any help or info would be appreciated.

Is it flickering, but otherwise usable or is it only flashing with no display?

Most likely you got a defective replacement screen, however it could also be a proximity sensor issue.
If the screen is usable while flashing, try running the BBVE Display Test and Sensor Test.

It is flickering, but usable. Will try that test thanks.

Try checking on different brightness levels. Should help reduce the flickering.

Thanks all, tried changing setting and sensor test. Ended up contacting Wholesale gadget parts and after a quick chat I got an email apologising and they have shipped a replacement screen and digitizer. Great service.
