I was looking at wireless card readers and the Kingston Mobilelite caught my attention. It has wireless streaming, storage, and battery charge and is fairly inexpensive. It requires an android app, which is always a gamble.

Does anyone have any experience with the device and app with a BB10 phone? if not, does anyone have a suggestion for a similar device?

Yes, basically an external WiFi card reader. You can transfer files wirelessly to your phone or PC. Also stream music or movies. I thought it might be useful to easily move pictures from my DSLR camera's SD card to my phone to share when traveling. Also includes a battery backup for my phone.

It only works with its own app though, so I was hoping someone had tried it with bb10.

I'll probably try it out and report back.
