I added my verified PayPal account to Payment Options setting & got a confirmation email from PayPal that BlackBerry Commerce has been set up for pre-approved payment plan.

But when I try to buy an app, I get purchase service error AW30220i. Is there any solution?

SOLVED :

After 10 months of purchase of Z3, I solved this issue. First things first, I apologise for suspecting the manufacturing competence of BlackBerry ! You are innocent !!

‎In August 2009, the RBI (central banker of India) announced a bizarre socialist decision banning online recurring transactions via debit cards & payment gateways. Also, a new 2-step authentication process involving push of a OTP (one-time password) to mobile phone was needed to complete online shopping.

This decision effectively made online dating impossible for Indian youth. Online magazine or video subscriptions did not renew anymore. In-app purchases were facing dodgy error walls.‎In short, if you don't have a credit card forget e-commerce.

‎I removed the PayPal gateway & all debit card profiles from Payment Options. I added my MasterCard Credit Card. BlackBerry deducted ₹10 to check veracity. My card Issuer refunded the ₹10 in 30 minutes. I opened the BlackBerry World & made my first purchase on OS 10. There is a sudden peace in my mind & soul. It's perfect !
