The m.uber.com web address is the best solution for Blackberry.

First create an account at www.uber.com (use promo code uberpromo20new for a free $20 ride).

Then you must contact support and get them to allow access to m.uber.com.

Once access has been allowed then use promo code roamwithuber to get another free $25 ride.

Used Uber a couple of times. I was happy with the service. Better and faster than a cab. The select car I was in was a brand new Benz.

I recommend using the mobile website and requesting Uber to enable access, as recommended by the OP.

I've used it several times with no issues.

Ober? I couldn't find it. I'm not on 10.3.2.

It's not your OS version. I don't think Ober is available via Beta Zone any longer. I can't see it from my BZ app either.

EDIT:
I'm in Canada and I can't see Ober in BB World either. Only alternative I see is One Taxi (aka OneTaxi).

Well how come the Android Uber app refuses to work on my Verizon Z30 V10.3.2?

I installed it via Snap. I've never had a problem with any other app (OK chrome doesn't work either, but that's ok) being installed from Snap.

Does anyone know the story?

If the app is calling for Google services that might be why. I'm not sure though.

Yeah, must be reliance on Google Play Services - I also couldn't get the app to run. Happy that the mobile web version works, though.

I don't know why they're not supporting BB10. They've got a native app for OS7. Uber needs to fix this.
