Charged the battery fully overnight, and this am it will not turn on. I took the battery out for a few hours, tried again. I took the battery out, plugged it into wall outlet and computer, nothing. All that happens is the little red light flashes once when i put the battery or plug into the wall/computer? Any ideas?

Make sure the battery is good and tight against the contacts, and if that doesn't work you could try running an auto loader to see if it brings it back.

the battery is fully charged, as i tried it in another Z10. Maybe the screen is shot (it may be booted up, no way to tell), is off warranty, through Rogers.

If you press the power button three times quickly does it go into screen reader mode.

I see nothing on the screen after i tried that, its blank. I assume its the display, but I have no way of knowing if it is even on.

Look at the battery and the contacts and make sure there clean, other wise looks like you will have to send it in to get fixed or buy a new phone.

Check to see if BB link connects to it. If so , you may have a problem with the display.
Open it up and check the 3 connections to the screen.

I had the same problem with my Q10...orange light only. I tried changing battery, removing sd and battery, getting only orange light for 15 secs and then for max 30 sec. So, following some advices, I plugged the phone to the wall without battery and sd. Switching on...getting the light, for 15 secs and then light was disappearing. I repeated this process many many times. My Q10 was no giving any sign of life...After 2 weeks, suddenly I tried with battery and sd and it was back to life. It seems some units of Q10 suffer of this problem. I wish you will get asap your Z10 working again. Try my method, maybe it will work. Cheers

If you think it's just the display then hook it up to the TV. I used the HDMI as well as a mouse when I broke my Z30 screen to recover some passwords a while back. Right now I have a white Z30 with a dead screen, but the device is fine. Hooked it up to HDMI and wiped it until I decide what to do with it.

That would be the easiest way to check. Plug in the HDMI cable and set it to the right one (HDMI1/2/3?) and just mess around with the power button. If you see the BlackBerry logo and it powers up then you just need a new screen.
