[CrackBerry Question]

I recently accidently smashed my iPhone 5s screen.

So I'm going to use a blackberry curve 9360 as my temporary phone until I get my iPhone sorted out.

1st day - I discovered the sims were different sizes and went and bought a sim adaptor to allow my nano sim to become a standard sim.

Put the sim into the phone and it said "invalid sim"

I went and spoke to someone in a tesco mobile branch and they said I needed to get the phone unlocked and then the sim should automatically work.

I got my phone unlocked earlier today.

I can only use the browser and facebook currently as I have wifi at my house which I connected too.

However, I cannot send texts because whenever I do it comes up with a red X.

I cannot ring people because when I try I get an instant pop up saying "no service currently avaliable"...

And I tried connecting to my whatsapp within the blackberry, but it keeps saying SMS verification not valid (hence how I know I cannot receive text messages)

Ive tried turning it off and on, taking the sim out and wiping it, then putting it back in... etc. I've also updated everything I could think of/needed updating.

Please help! As I'm getting completely confused and frustrated
