Q10 if you want precise fast typing
Z10 if you want to watch movies, play games or anything else that is better on a bigger screen

Also, q10 has a bit better battery life so if you need good battery life, get a q10

Also, why don't you get a Z30? They're very cheap these days, have a big screen, and have an amazing battery life (far better than the q10 and z10). The z30 also has better speakers

What swung it for me is the Q5's FM radio and battery life. Also comes in more colours than the Z10. You should go for what best suits your needs though.

Q5 probably has the productivity edge because of the keyboard shortcuts and hotkeys. Don't know if that is important to you.

Things to Ask yourself:

1) Do I want a physical keyboard or virtual
2) Do I want to watch movies or just text
3) Do I want decent battery life or short

Both devices are good on the quality side, no problems there. Unless you love a qwerty keyboard I would go for the Z10. Simply because a bigger screen is better when watching videos ect.

If u want a qwerty device then q10 is the best and if u want full touch device then go for z30 or leap. dont go for z10 because now u have better option in full touch device like leap and z30.

I have used Z10 before. After 1 year only I know that I still miss the physical keyboard of BlackBerry curve. That makes me sell my z10 and bought secondhand Q5. And it's worth for me.

I find the battery life on my q5 better than my q10. I also like the q5 keyboard, less spelling mistakes and no double typing.

Ive started using Torch 9800 about a year ago, then after few months switched to Bold 9790, which i was using until week ago, when i finally got Q5, which is absolutely amazing Phone with insane hardware and unbelievable price. BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 is th� Best syst�m ever Made. I still miss trackpad though, but classic is quite big as Said before. God bless blackberry

I totally agree with Post #12.

I'm very happy I gave the Q5 a try. I recently got a backup for $89. Unbelievable pricing.

The Z10 has gotten better with 10.3.1. Especially the battery life has improved significantly for me. But I have learned that I need the physical keyboard for business.

I'm a big advocate of the Q5.
