Yesterday I downloaded the 3.9.3 update from snap on my Q10, and now waze doesnt even load and crasshes.

Help me plz. Im on 10.3.1.1779 os

I noticed the same thing. Can't download it from BlackBerry World, apk from Google play store doesn't load.

My version (downloaded from Google Play Store using Snap) is 3.9.4.0 and works perfectly on my Z30. I am running OS 10.3.1.2726
As always, it takes forever to load the first time after install, but launches quickly and runs fine after that first initialization.
Jimhaines, make sure you give it a LONG time to load the first time. It is initializing and setting itself up.

Ok guys... i was able to insall it somehow from the amazon store...BUT....now i have a problem.... i cannot navigate well.

The navigation is intermitent at best....it doesnt go real time like it was going before i updated to 10.3.1.1779.....
I think something is going on with the GPS because when the navigation gets interrupted, it shows a message in the upper part of the screen saying " No GPS showing approximate location". My waze doesnt work like it should anymore and makes me miss streets because of this

HELP PLEASE!!... how can i fix the GPS�??

Hydde, sounds like what you said - not getting GPS and falling back to mobile network location which is much less accurate. No idea why you are having that problem. Your OS, that was your official carrier update?

yes it was official carrier update... and i think it will be the os the responsible of this...becayse before in the 1.2x i was good to go

Yeah, happened to my phone too. Now im using the Google Map from Playstore. Works fast and amazing.

Latest Waze from Snap/google play store works perfectly fine. Always has.

Delete your old Waze version first and then install the new one. Upgrading the app usually breaks it.

But still cant find a solution for the intermitent gps signal. Its super annoying and totally breaks the experience. I dont know what todo.

I installed the amazon store one and still have gps problems. Where I can find another navigation app to see if the problem is within waze or is soemthing else?

It would not be an app problem, but there could be some corruption in the Android Runtime environment which is causing some disruption communicating with the GPS.

Same here. Waze has difficulties finding a GPS fix or event stalls completely.
A complete reboot usually helps. Both Mireo DON'T PANIC and BB MAPS have no problem finding a fix.

Both full un/re-install from Amazon and Snap does not solve it.

Running on Z10 STL100-2 10.31.1779

I am also more inclined to blame it on Android app integration issues.

delete the snap version and install the amazon appstore version. worked for me on my q10. 10.3.2, had the same issue.

same with facebook messenger, I looked for an older version and found one that is fast flawless and has stickers
