Just received my new white z30 yesterday and all I have to say is Wow! From the screen to the battery life, to USB OTG this phone just plain rocks. I'm so glad I got off the fence and bought it.. the $249 price pulled the trigger for me.

Just kinda sad to see my Z10 being relegated to backup status after being my daily driver for the last 26 months.

Anyway if you want this phone..get it!! I'm not sorry I did.

Are you on VZW? That model (STA100-3) supports the Qi wireless charging std., and I use the Nokia DT-900
Wireless charger. Saves wear/tear on the data/charging port.....

The Z30 is a solid beast.
Make sure you use the device for a while to wring any issues that may arise BEFORE you do the OS update. A lot of folks have been having issues with the update bricking the device.
BB even pulled the os back, but there may be fixes released. Be careful.....

Unfortunately I have the Canadian model (STA100-5) with no wireless charging. Still a beast nonetheless.

Almost the minute I turned it on and completed the setup it auto updated to 10.3.1.2582. Luckily I had no hardware issues!

I'm on my Passport as well right now but I picked up a Crackberry Z30 for $250 and I can't wait to switch over, my Z30 is really nice. (mind you I love my Passport too and have no intention of dumping it)

I got z30 today and it's my first BlackBerry with virtual keyboard. Compared to my q10 and passport, it feels very different.

I was just saying to turn it off so that it would be charged or plugged in when it does update. Also he/she could be on Wi-Fi instead of going over 4G.

Most people I've read about having issues had the update start automatically and the battery ran down.

STA100-5 is the same phone (in Canada). Not sure if the -5 model is available in the U.S.
