I wouldn't do that if I was you, I think Cingular is more expensive in the long run, and why pay an ETF when you can just buy the phone and have it unlocked for use on T-Mobile.
Or if you're really desperate, just get an 8800 (assuming you don't have one) and let it hold you over until the 83xx arrives. Nothing says BB fanatic like buying one BB just to ease the pain of waiting for another BB.
i'm so confused i dont know what to believe anymore. I have already made up my mind that I am leaving SPRINT for this 8300 or should i say the t-mobile version 8320! But I have heard that t-mobile's date ranges from mid june to late july. I guess we are all waiting on pins and needles
I would be very patient as I hear only good thing about t-mo still. Rates, coverage and customer service never let me down when i was with them. Just be patient young grasshopper.
This is funny, almost like getting a divorce, and looking to get more than half before you leave!

Trez09 hit the nail on the head... At&t owns exclusivity rights to the 8300 for three months... So TMO will not be getting it for atleast that long... However there has been rumor about an 8320 which may go to TMO...
navilyn you are right me actually deciding to leave sprint is like serving them divorce papers! we were together so long. lol. i am looking to get remarried real soon to t-mobile just waiting for them to propose to me with the 8320
I am laughing at you rumors said "8320 will come to tmobile". what a joke? there never will release 8320 on tmobile since 8100 and 8800 were released on att, O2, T-Mobile on and on. Now 8300 released on O2, at&t, rogers already. 8300 will be realase on tmobile soon, not 8320 because there never mentoned 8320 at all.. Now look T-Mobile from germany,
like it was mentioned earlier these are speculations nothing has been confirmed yet. so niether YOU nor I know for a fact WHAT t-mo is releasing because NOTHING HAS BEEN RELEASED YET. There are plenty of speculations/rumors everywhere.
I say wait for the Tmobile version, because it is not the 8300, but the 8320. I would rather wait a month or two and get a curve with WiFI for the same price as the WiFI-less 8300 on Tmobile.

There have already been pictures of the tmobile curve with wifi setup screenshots. The 8300 does not have wifi, but the 8320 does. The tmobile one does indeed have wifi.

This wait is driving me crazy. I am a newbie with an HTC Tytn, and the Tytn, while decent, crashes constantly. It's also a bit of a brick in comparison to the Curve. I don't think that the Tmo Curve will come with WiFi, but here's to wishing.
I'm a Verizon Treo 700p user currently on month 7 of a 2 year contract that I'll be looking to terminate as soon as the Curve is released on T-Mo. I've never owned a BB before and just today I stopped by a Cingular store to check out the 8300 and that helped me decide even more to go for a BB. I'm on the same boat as many here; I will just have to wait for AT&T's exclusivity to expire before T-Mo gets it and then I get it! I'm done with my Treo! but not yet... I have to wait... and wait... Is it here yet??
Those who dont think the 8320 is coming to T-mobile think again. With the release of t-mobile's new T-mobileAtHome service for free wifi phone call access most of t-mobile's new phones will be geared to using this feature. Look for wifi enabled t-mobile phones to be released within the next couple weeks that are going to be able to take advantage of this new T-mobileAtHome service. I cant say one way or another if the 8320 will be coming but with this new service i wouldn't count it out yet! We can wait and hope!
