    Running a Bold 9900 with original battery (3 yrs. old). Battery shows full charge. Any phone use longer than 5 minutes causes the wireless to shut off due to lack of power, and battery shows empty. Plug the phone in, and it re-charges in about 15 minutes. So I cannot use this device as a phone unless I am plugged in to a power source. Have not updated the OS in over a year. Is this a system problem or a battery problem i.e. will a new OEM battery get me back up and running? Or should I try updating the OS first? Or could it be a hardware failure? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
    Love this phone and don't want to trade it in
