Standalone apps

Things happen when I get bored. These are a bunch of tools, that can, among other things:

• Create all autoloaders for a single release
• Create one autoloader for when you just want a quick upgrade
• Check (and download) the latest OS from a carrier
• Run lookups for software releases
• Check OS certifications
• Have easy access to cfp/cap
• The list goes on...

If you want them, you have two options:

• Not Windows: It's on Pypi, so (with Python 3!) install this with pip:
  

  pip install bbarchivist

• Windows: Click "Standalone apps" above and get a static copy of a few of the scripts in this package. Or, get Python working on your system and install with pip.

Cross-platform (except for running autoloaders).

Further help can be found in the README.

Check this thread every so often for updates.

If you have a technical issue with these programs, and it's reproducible, then by all means bring it up here or in GitHub's issues system. Or, if you have anything you feel should be implemented, bring it up as a feature request here or in GitHub; even better, if you can implement it yourself, send a pull request on GitHub.

Feedback is welcomed.

If you're wondering why you have to install Python to get the most out of this, it provides for a single source for all of these tools (including upgrade management, cross-platform support, etc.) via pip. Besides, you could learn something.

Lazyloader will download the debrick OS and radio images for the device you have specified and create an executable file that you can use to flash your device with.

Archivist on the other hand downloads the debrick OS and radio images for all device types, creates executable files for each one, and then gives you the option to create an MD5/SHA-1/SHA-256 hash for each one (so that others can verify the downloaded files match what was uploaded), as well as the option to compress them to a .7z file to save disk space and bandwidth when uploading.

All of these are packaged as self-extracting zips, with everything necessary to use them included. If you want the .py file or whatever, check GitHub.

Windows only. No GUI.

LAZYLOADER

Input OS, radio, software release, device, get one single autoloader. If you see there's a new OS out, and you want to load it onto your phone, open up lazyloader, answer what it asks you (or use command line arguments) and plug in your phone. When it's done, you'll have the new OS packaged as an autoloader, and loaded onto your phone if you asked the program to do so.

No, it will not make non-destructive loads, nor remove apps from the autoloader, nor anything too fancy. Just a regular old autoloader, but with less effort on your part (hence the title).

To use, extract to a folder and double click lazyloader.exe, or check the Readme to see which options are available through the command line.

Input OS, radio, software release, get all autoloaders. If you see there's a new OS out, and people are begging for autoloaders on MEGA/Bitcasa/whatever, open up archvist, answer what it asks you (or use command line arguments) and wait. When it's done, you'll have a bunch of autoloaders (one OS+ radio per device type, radio-only as well if you want), with the option of verifying each file with a variety of methods (defaults are MD5, SHA-1 and SHA-256) and/or compressing each file into a .7z archive. And then you just move the resulting file onto some sort of cloud storage (except FileFactory) and rack up the Likes/Thanks.

Requires a buttload of hard drive space (>40 GB), since it's downloading many debricks and radios and producing many autoloaders. A 64 bit OS, a lot of free RAM and a good CPU are recommended. On my computer (Windows 8.1 x64, 32GB RAM, AMD FX-8350) it takes around 90 minutes to go to compressed and verified loaders from scratch.
