Updated to 10.3.1.1865 yesterday from bell Canada, I have had my Z30 from day one roll out in canada approximately 1.5 years. I have never ever had this phone die in 4 hrs.

Post a screen shot of what drained youre battery

Yes, open Device Monitor. The first screen shows battery use and what is using it. At the bottom, tap the CPU tab and also see what is running.

You might need to restart

Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have a Z10: If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

Yes, give it some time and eventually once the phone is done indexing and all that, the battery will settle down.

I had the problem since I upgraded to 10.3.1, not as bad as you though. Looking up what caused the drain via BBVE I figured it's the system itself, since I loaded the new update a couple of days ago it seems to be better on my Z30. Knock on wood it will stay like that. Maybe give it some time

My battery lasts me all day, unless I screw around on Facebook and Twitter a lot. If I use my phone strictly for communications, it lasts over a day easily.

Oops...go into your apps manager and turn off " run when minimized " for all that don't require it. As others said, reboot it a few times.

Make sure all your accounts have their password and are all set up correctly. Reboot and it should settle. If not let us know. Good luck.
