I would appreciate any help on these topics. After searching haven't fouond anwers.

1 - How can I make it so the top button takes it directly to password screen.
2 - After password screen want to default to e-mail.
3 - Use button in between volume buttons to take directly to calendar.

1 - settings --> security and privacy --> lock screen --> set power key to unlock

2 - can't be done unless you always lock from the hub

3 - I don't believe the side button can be assigned but you can set up shortcuts from your keyboard. That's in the settings menu.

Unfortunately I think you're out of luck on all three. But swipe to wake will immediately bring up the password screen, pressing M on homescreen will take you to mail, and hitting L on home or any icons page will open the calendar. Right now the middle button can only be used for Mute or to optionally launch the Assistant. I think adding the ability to have it launch any app you choose would be a nice addition.
