Check your mobile network technology setting. I got mine (new in box) yesterday, and it was set to HSPA+,UMTS,GSM instead of LTE,HSPA+,UMTS,GSM. Once I changed that, it locked onto LTE.

If it hasn't changed (I'm on 10.2.1), it's under settings, network and connections, mobile network .

Lte bands for stl100-3 is. 700/850/1700/1900 Globe operates on 1800/2600/2500 Smart on 850/1800/2100 but I think 1800 is the most common band which the Stl100-3 dont have..

The last few 10.3.1 builds - including the current one - has had that "no information available" for a while now. I am on AT&T with an AT&T Z10, getting LTE, but I still see that message too. So that has nothing to do with your issue. I think it's just a bug in the OS. Build 1154 was the last one to correctly list the LTE frequencies.

However, the device model you have may very well be your issue.

You say it's an AT&T Z10. I assume it's unlocked, or you wouldn't have any kind of cell service. So, we are past that - the SIM works.

The AT&T Z10 is model STL100-3. That phone uses LTE bands 2, 4, 5 and 17. That's it. It's specific radio hardware that determines that and can't be changed.

Someone up above mentioned that you need the STL100-2 for your country. The -2 uses LTE bands 3, 7, 8 and 20. Totally different bands than the -3 with none of them overlapping.

I think you need to find out what LTE bands your carrier actually uses assuming your SIM is provisioned for LTE, but it seems like you are out of luck.

I love that photo at the top of that wiki page.

It's a BB10 OS, but there are no gray boxes behind the icons. I don't recall any version prior to 10.3 that didn't have them. Even the pre-release material prior to the BB10 launch had the gray boxes. The OS in that picture is definitely older than 10.3 because of the icon set and the 4x4 icon layout. 10.3+ on the Z10 is now a 4x5 layout.

No. Everything is hardwired inside the phone and built in-place. It doesn't have anything like interchangeable parts. And the frequencies/bands it covers is not software controlled either. That's why they built the individual models for the various regions.

BlackBerry 10 is qualcomm right? Well I found a hack or something which I'm not that confident because I need to root my phone in order to get an extra bandwidth. Try to search on Google "qualcomm add bandwidth"

Too bad z10 is unrootable, and i think it is not possible to tinker with the device itself. Although it can run android applications, it is not an android os, or android derived os.

You cannot modify the Z10. What you are probably reading is how to modify an android phone to change LTE bands. Please let me repeat this. No matter what you do, you can not change the operating bands of your BlackBerry phone.
