As seen in the picture one box says "Retail" the other says "Regional". One made in Mexico 5 and one made in Mexico 6. 2 different PRD numbers and 2 different numbers above the " Made in" dialogue.

My Z30 was purchased from a "BlackBerry insider" (best description I can think of) in April 2014. That's the box named "regional".

My wife's Z30 came from Shop BlackBerry December 2014.

Mine updated last year without any hassles, my wife's we had to do the remove sim trick.

I was just wondering if anyone had any nerdy trivia on the differences between Mexico 5 and 6, Retail and Regional, PRD-55452-014 vs PRD-55452-019 and 141113 vs 101214.

I'm guessing on the last numbers that 141113 means November 14, 2013 (the phone I got first) - stated in international date style. And the 101214 (the shopbb) is October 12, 2014 in US style of dating.

If anyone is interested, I'd love it if you posted this section of your Z30 box just for comparisons.

Appreciate any inside knowledge of the differences in terms and why.

The second is December 10 2014. They print always international style. BTW- pretty cool. You got a fresh Z30!
