I suggest to use Viber came from Amazon AppStore. The one from BlackBerry World is outdated. I got the same error on 10.2.1

I don't want to create amazon store account since it forces me to put my credit card unlike BlackBerry World

OK update : now uaed old version from BlackBerry World called Viber10 and it works! Not only that but 10.3.1 now fixed issue with contacts that written in unicode/utf8 and not English

Updated viber from 1 mobile store, and it is Woking fine on passport. Receiving And making calls.

Viber is awesome for free call and for other cool features. But, you should use latest version to avoid such error.

Still using version 4.3.3 and after update to 10.3.1.1565 (Q10 SQN 100-3) nothing change, mean contact sync, notification, call function...except answering on call because of small screen I can't see answering button. I try also to re size app but remain same. Only one thing is strange when I try to change profile photo from gallery all the pictures is flip for 90 degrees to the left. All photo which was received from iPhone and that start happen 10 days ago. Any idea about this?

Hi Guys,

I used to be happy with the Viber 4.3 from BBWorld as long as my Z10 was still running 10.2.
Indeed, after upgrading to 10.3 suddenly all contacts seem to have disappeared :-(

Now, partly by accident, I discovered Viber is now only "allowed" to see contacts which are *only* on the SIM card !!
When a contact is linked to something else, it may be visible in Viber for some seconds after creation and then disappears.

Soo, for all contacts you want to see in Viber, make sure to unlink the SIM contacts from the others. Or just create a new SIM-only contact !

This annoyance may have been introduced in BB 10.3 for "security" reasons, certainly on corporate phones like mine.
