[CrackBerry Question]

I updated my Z10 to 10.3 and post upgrade I can't get any cellphone signal in areas I used to have. As matter of fact I never had network signal issues before this update.
Is it coincidental that after the upgrade my phone battles to get a network signal

p.s. I did not drop my phone or installed other apps

My dad has this problem on his new Classic. Goes from 4 bars to 0 in areas of the house he never had signal problems before on any other phone

Seems many are having different issues with the new OS. Hope it doesn't take them months to fix them all. Of course people will say you're doing it wrong as they don't have issues.

Yes, had to ditch the classic with 2582 on it and go back to the iPhone. The signal is crap in this version and I don't have the desire to reload back to an older os. No or very low at&t signal where I never had a problem before this update. Seems like it's fix one thing and break 2?

Found a possible solution. The Classic is currently locked to HSPA+. It seems to have fixed the issue. If after a couple days the signal problems don't resurface I'm going to try locking it to just HSPA+ & LTE

Currently have LTE off for testing...besides, my parents home is in a very bad LTE reception area anyway

Ok that didn't fix the problem
However I have now sideloaded Core: 10.3.1.2726 & Radio: 10.3.1.2727 & the reception is better then ever. Not only is it no longer dropping out, it's getting a better signal than the Z30

....keep in mind this is only a preliminary assessment after 1 day of use with the new radio file.

Just posted the same query on my Z10...
I'm running official 10.3.1.1779 OS.
Signal set to 2G 3G & 4G, but I'm lucky to get gprs!.
Thought it was maybe to do with the age of my phone (2yr) but maybe software, the problem did start about the same time...
