    I download torrent files and they never seem to work on my playbook. Can someone tell me which types of movie files I should be looking for? Thanks.

    Use KalemSoft Media Player - it'll play everything you can throw at it! I haven't found a file yet that it won't play. You can even drag and drop VOB files straight from a DVD and they'll play. Best app I've bought yet for the PB.

    Wow! Just wanted to report back that Kalemsoft is amazing! Plays every kind of file! Thanks for the suggestion!

    Watching videos is the main reason why I keep my Playbook. With Kalemsoft Media Player, I don't have to convert any of my downloaded movie files.

    Yeah, I had no idea about Kalemsoft. It has actually brought a lot of joy to my playbook! But there is always that fear that Kalemsoft will no longer be available!

    I only use MP4 for movies and they work great. I love My 2 playbooks and I will use them until they die....

    FWIW, I'm guessing that most of the torrents that the OP is downloading are either in divx or flv formats. Divx movies can generally be played in the stock video player simply by changing the extension from divx to avi. The advantage to using the stock player is its "presentation mode" feature, which no other media player can duplicate. As for flv files, there are a couple of apps in app world that will play these, a free one being "Local Media Player".
