They already released Playbook 2.0....its called a Passport.

Joking aside...there are no plans for a Playbook 2.0 and I would guess if there is any thoughts on moving forward with another tablet, it's a year or more away.

I know what you meant but I took the low road for fun.
It met your criteria 2015 and new.

Have you tried the 'old' one? Thats what I use. I love it as my casual but everyday browser and music/podcast player. But it shouldnt cost you too much! They have been devalued by the market but i still think they're way better than the droid tablets, had a couple of those too.

You know what i wish BlackBerry would make, is a laptop or a desktop!

It will snow in hell before Blackberry bring out a tablet. Now that Microsoft has given away Windows 8.1 and soon Windows 10 to every man and his dog, they wouldn't stand a chance. There are now tablets ranging from less than $120 dollars to $250. The fanboys will probably stay with Apple and the rest will either go Windows or Android.

More to the point, it appears that tablet sales are now dropping. As to Blackberry's once famed security features, it appears that others i.e. Silent Circle have not stood by with their new secure phone and tablet.

Sadly, Blackberry fell asleep when they should have been overdosing on caffeine.

Yes...Blackberry did fall asleep during tablet season....but I still use my Playbook every day and prefer it over anything else iOS or Android or Windows. I wish they'd at least update the browser - that would keep me going. Meanwhile I have the Z30 and so far love the updated OS.
