Have you reset the phone a couple of times?

Turn it off and take the battery out for a few minutes and see if that frees up any memory.

Once you've done that take a look in the device monitor and see what is hogging the memory and delete anything you don't need / use.

No need to restore at this stage, try the reset and deleting unused apps etc first.

Doing a restore is a complete pain, I always leave that to the last resort.

I reset, I had it off for a week, if not more, because it hasn't been working.
Ever since I upgraded the software, I have no memory left. Now I cant send or receive emails.
An I deleted everything extra. I have no pictures, no apps, nothing but my email account. the systems crap (that I cannot delete) is taking up 12GB of storage.
What are my options?? I love this BB, but now completely hate it and I don't want the new small screen "Classis"
    thanks

If nothing else is helping I have to agree.

Just try and get it backed up before doing it though, although you do always run the risk of reintroducing the problem when you restore the backup unfortunately.

There's your problem, delete Iron Man, Asphalt Racing and then do a couple of reboots.

Looks like this might be the only solution.

It could, although I don't think you have any other options at this point, you can't use the phone now so it can't get any worse than that.

Go for it and let us know if it works for you, good luck with it.

I am not sure what the phone does its cleanup. If the upgrade is done ota (over the air), the OLD OS is kept along side the new one to make sure everything does right. But it should eventually get cleaned out.

I agree, but in this case I think something has gone wrong as the system is taking 8GB and seems to be eating any memory that is freed up, seems very weird.

I think the only hope is to do a clean install here.
