Ok, So I am on week one of my curve, loving it! But I got one question. I have a bluetooth headset and it works great. But sprint navigation pumps out through the speaker instead of my headset. Does this work? What am I missing?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the tip - had never tried it since I expected to see something about BT in the menu and assumed it wasn't supported. Always thought that was odd since GPS Nav is better hands-free. Even with the lag, its definitely useful.

Too bad the same trick doesn't work for videos or sprint tv.

    Hello to all,

I tried this on my Curve 8330 for Verizon. It does not seem to work. Anyone have any wisdom on what I should do?

    Thanks

I've never thought to try that. Its pretty cool. I keep my headset in my car which is at the shop right so when I get it back I'm going to test this out!

Try pressing the ALT key before the speaker key. It's the same key combination you use to use the speakerphone.

in bluetooth highlight the device hit menu and make it a trusted device. This will keep you working. You can set it to auto connect there also instead of prompting before connecting...

I have a sprint 8330m that I just picked up the other day. Every time I try and hit the $ (speaker key), I get the dollar/euro screen. I get the same screen wether I hit the alt key first or not. I even tried holding it down, but no dice. Any help would be great...I'd love to get the GPS directions over my bluetooth.

    Thanks,

Hi, I also have a Verizon 8330 (and also a Verizon 8830) neither will send the vzw navigator voice to my hands-free handset (Jabra SP700 / SP 700). I have tried hitting the $ sign, then the alt + $ and still nothing.

Does anybody have any update on this. My phone is showing the SP 700 hands-free car kit as trusted and also shows "Hands-Free" as part of the device properties, but still nothing.

Any input would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks
    MJ
