From Beta Zone Just wanted to let you know that BlackBerry News Feeds 1.0.1.7 has been released to App World. This version has addressed the following issues that were reported in external beta.
- Using BlackBerry News caused the pop-up menu to appear unexpectedly on touch screen devices.
- You might not have been able to sign in to BlackBerry News if your device did not have the correct service book.
- Error messages that appeared when you tried import a Viigo subscription were not specific.
- Pressing the Space key only scrolled to the next line in a news article.
Well it finally doesn't slow my device down.
When I would exit, it would freeze but it doesn't do that anymore.
It just seems smoother/faster now, but nothing else is different.
Still only available to the USA and Canada on App world, really RIM, sometimes it feels like Apple provides better support in South Africa, and they don't, at all!
I have installed via BBSAK and when i try to launch via BB its giving me the below error.. any suggestions?? am on OS 5
Got the same error after installing Leaked os 6.0.0.600 but when i was on 576 it was working well, just installed the older version and it working excellent
My Location is Philippines
Im just wondering why RIM limit the use of it to US and Canada.

Might be because they're the only ones that have truly unlimited data plans, in uk 500mb is the norm and if you go over that you get charged for another 500mb.

Hmm not sure. I am in Australia and I have an unlimited data plan which is fairly common.
