I always had my font set as BBCasual, Size 8 and Style is Bold

i wanted to see how small the words would go if i set it to 5
i changed the size to 5. save, go back, check my msgs and home screen.

then i go back to settings change it back to 8 and same settings as before
    and here what happened now

the font doesnt look as smooth as before, some of the letters are cut off
look at the hearts under the contact's name, i used see them very clear, now they are all cut apart

also this is my home screen

look at the B in Blackberry Messenger and Browser, and the A in contacts and so on

this is the only one i have to compare to before

    before

    after

on OS 5 there used to be smooth font option, where is it now

Have you tried a battery pull? System might be glitched out for whatever reason.

I have a similar problem since after I purchased and installed docs to go premium. Now the fonts in the opening screen for docs to go (except for pdf2go) are completely screwed.

Sounds like you may have to do a re-install of the OS then..unless someone else has some answers..

6.0.0.284 has the drop down to enable font smoothing. You might want to consider an upgrade.

Download "FontMaster" from app world. Install a font. Then revert back. Problems solved.
