I can see VERY slight colour banding in very plain solid colours but not anything like the strong colour banding what I remember from earlier OSs.
Can you point me to where you see an issue so I can report back?
In my photos I can not see any colour banding but they do have sharp colour and contrast changes.
Greg
Thanks for the help
the major color banding that I notice is on the main home screen when an Item is selected or when you first open the "media" folder and you can clearly see the banding on the blue backround
didnt work. I have verizon btw,
Someone please help with my issue!
"having some issues installing it. Followed the steps. Copy and pasted the files to the right place and all and then uninstalled the old one. have the new one installed and all(.113) and when I open DM it doesnt show the update. Whats up?"
Woah. It sounds like you did it in reverse. You should have 114 installed, with the 113 java files copied into the 114 java folder. You shouldn't have 113 installed. That's for the 9500 so DM won't recognize it. Forgive me if I didn't understand you right.
hey whoever installed the 113/114 hybrid were you able to save all the information from your previous OS like contacts/ calender dates and what not? Cause last time i did the 99/103 hybrid i somehow lost all that even after i backed it all up cause it said there was an error
I just created a 9530 .109/ 9500 .113 hybrid. installing on my phone right now. ill post again with some findings.
The .113/.114 seems to be better. I did the .109/.113 first, just an fyi... the accelerometer, in my opinion, is noticeably faster in .113/.114. For me anyways.

Yes. I've always been able to restore my backups. On a side note, you shouldn't be able to lose your backup files if you do a manual backup and save it to your computer. I'm talking about a backup using the Backup/Restore option in DM, not the auto backup that the update does for you.

Wasnt an issue for me. Everything went very smoothly. Make sure you have it selected to do a full backup.. you'll be ok!

Hi Trevor,
Interesting redraw bug this.
Going into Media for the first time and the colour graduations that I can see in the light blue area at the bottom are just on the edge of visibility and would not be noticed if not pointed out.
However select / click Videos, then exit straight out and you see colour undulations (note not colour graduations from a reduced bit count per pixel). Almost colour waves. Then touch Photos (no need to click) and the undulations go away.

thanks for the tip. ill check that out if im having issues with this one. I wasnt sure if i was gonna have that phone screen # problem if i mixed 114 with 113.
