Restart the phone and do not touch it for 20 minutes. Sometimes it takes ART some time boot up.

    What OS are you using?

The Runtime update is ONLY for 10.3.2.2876 and 10.3.2.2888.

Aren't there any descriptions or warnings on that? And how do people even see it? I searched BBW on "android", then "runtime", and didn't see anything related.

Only way is to follow a link without reading. And then not reading the update notes.

You now have to reload your OS with Link, or run an autoloader. Both will wipe your device and allow you to start fresh. Do not backup or restore unless you use Ultimate Backup from BlackBerry World.

You can't search for it. It's not accessible that way. The only way to get it is by clicking on direct links to the BBW page while in the BlackBerry browser, and the bowser can't be in desktop mode.

There are few warnings once you get to the BBW page. You have to read it, but there's that big ol' "install" button up there... waiting... But the page that had the link should have had the warnings and listed the specific OS this was made for. Doesn't mean that it did.

Yes. That's why you have to use an autoloader. I sent the link above.

A security wipe will not resolve the problem. You need the new OS.

Backup with Ultimate Backup, download and unzip autoloader on your PC, plug in phone, run autoloader.

To get your PC to recognize it, go to settings, storage and access, access using USB, toggle USB mass storage mode

That option is only there if the OP has a micro SD card installed, and that setting only gives removable USB access to that card. Not internal memory.

If there is no SD card, that option will not be available.

Right. I forgot. Need BB Link to access the device files.
