    My beloved three year old Q10 will probably have to go soon. I am thinking about a Priv. When did Verizon provide the last update?

    I happened to get a call today from Verizon to review our account. I mentioned how I might be interested in upgrading to the Priv but was hesitant since it has not had a security update since June and no Marshmallow update. She spoke to her manager who told her Priv was not compatible with Marshmallow. I easily convinced her that he was wrong and to look at other carriers for evidence. She claims that she is going to investigate the issue further and call me back in two days.

    More likely Verizon has Marshmallow for brains and doesn't want to share it with anyone else. Dunderheads!

    Of course she did not call me back or text me her contact info as promised. In fact, I got another call yesterday to review my account again!

    I got a call from them yesterday. At first I thought it was in reference to my FCC complaint. But, NO, it was like yours - review my account. I started off by saying I was waiting for Security Updates and would like that before discussing my account. She also said she would check into it. But clearly, she was some paid shill to get me off UNlimited. But we did not discuss her calling back.

    I just got an update on my VZW Priv. Still installing after 1.25 hours. Not only did it upgrade the system, it upgraded and "optimized" the apps, right now on app 92 of 97. Can't wait to see if it's just a security update, or if they finally rolled out Marshmallow for the VZW Priv!

    Yes, the rollout seems to now be speeding along. Unfortunately, I jumped the gun last night and used the Autoloader and it wiped my Priv. So now have hours to reset everything up!
