Yeap me too, after my phone acting so weird today forcing me to take a reboot, suddenly the April update kicked in to my notification tray. STV 3, running the latest AAK689.

Don't understand how this is going to work for some of us who don't even get it in April. Is there not even going to be a May patch?

If I'm understanding this correctly:

March patch + 20 MB update -> April patch, AAK689
March patch + 1900 MB update -> April patch, AAK687

Not sure why that's happening. If the final builds were the same that would be a simpler explanation (someone fat fingered the release process and sent the full OS instead of a delta build, it's happened), but they aren't. Maybe some carriers are switching branches? If anyone with the AAK687 build could test this (without reloading your OS) and report back, that'd be great.

This is understandable, since you are carried bound with updates, but I am on an unlocked 100-3 and got the update at the end of the month, this is just lame, in the past I got updates before the mid of the month, now it seems that I get them towards the end, really lame to see all this fragmentation in updates, everyone with an unlocked Priv should get the monthly security updates at the same time, there is no excuse to have them so split up and there is no excuse software wise, if other companies can do this so can BB.

Yes, I am well aware I am at the mercy of AT&T when it comes to OS update releases. I'm simply curious/skeptical as some have posted that they have received the April update on their AT&T carrier locked Privs.

According to the AT&T website the last update release was March 21 and that was the last update I received.

I also believe this long delays in releasing the April patch is due to some issues and it needs to be rectified before being released to the masses AND this might also be the real sign that Nougat is being prepared therefore there would be a chance that almost all the forces at BBRY are being pushed to the limit to focus and stay focused on getting it right, as the result, yeah this delay is happening.

Sometimes we just have to wait for the good big thing to come up to us and this is it...
